The chosen project for National In‐Service Day was an evening of volunteering at Bags of Love. This is a wonderful non‐profit that’s sole goal is to provide necessities and comfort items to children who are in crisis due to neglect, abuse, poverty or homelessness. We met at the warehouse and spent 2 hours completing a variety of tasks – sewing comforter, ironing labels on quilts, hand tying quilts, sorting clothing and school supplies. It was such an incredible way to help out our community.
