Oregon Lewis and Clark Chapter Programs

Our chapter has had great programs this year. In November we had the pleasure of having  State Regent, Rebecca Taylor and State Custodian, Mary Parrott,  visit our chapter meeting. It was a great opportunity to learn more about them and their vision for the Oregon State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. At our December meeting, Becky Stenzel, Executive Director of Bags of Love, told us about this wonderful organization whose purpose is to provide necessities and comfort items to children who are in crisis due to neglect, abuse, poverty or homelessness. Since their inception in 2008, they have distributed over 7,000 bags in the local area.

want to be attendance at our January 12, 2019 meeting as Dr. Lois Youngen, a former player with the Fort Wayne Daisies of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League comes to tell us about this exciting chapter in her life. Dr.  Youngen is Associate Professor Emerita in Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Oregon.
